Brad gives his reasons why other conferences want to get into the state of Texas. Brett McMurphy joins the show to go over the new alliance created between the Big Ten, ACC, and Pac-12. Jake gives an Astros injury update and Brad gives an AL West race update and then the guys debate over what you can call a successful season in the NFL.

ESPN NFL Insider Field Yates joined the guys to discuss his expectations for the Texans this season, why this year might not be about wins and losses for them and talk some fantasy football ahead of draft season.

In the final hour of the Wheelhouse the guys go over the second preseason games for every team and break down some performances around the league. They also talk about the Astros upcoming series against the Kansas City Royals and what they expect out of the team. They also go around the MLB and talk about the big story lines from the league.
