What Makes A Murderer (8-13-1945)

At some point, a mild-mannered stockbroker decides he’s had enough of his dull, everyday routine and tosses it all aside for a shot at romance and adventure in Florida...and surprisingly, he finds both! Along the way, the program breaks in with a news bulletin: B-29 bombers are still carrying out missions over Japan, with Bill Downs reporting from Guam. One commercial even points out that while new cars are already rolling into production, most folks will be waiting about three years before they can get their hands on one. Fun bit of trivia: this script later made a return appearance on "The Whistler" on April 7, 1948.
