In this episode I discuss my thoughts on the evolving kidnapping news out of Port-au-Prince and how white folks in Haiti need to take responsibility for their own bad decisions and wreckless actions in the country. I also wrestle with the complex question of what the international response should be in a situation like this.

It’s a complicated and messy situation with no easy answers, but we gotta talk about it so we can lay bare the systems responsible that we each have a duty to contribute to breaking down.
