Oh my gosh, this weekend was awesome! It's been a while since Hike 47 of our 52 Hike Challenge. In fact we should be on 50 this coming weekend. But life happens. Sometimes good and many times bad. I (Whitebeard) truly didn't want to go anywhere. And an incident that occurred during the "Holiday" was the cause. Everything went down hill from there. However dragging myself out of bed and to the trail was the best medicine. As always TK and I thrive in the outdoors. She didn't even want to leave the Puddle Jumper once we got home. And the absolute best part was.... we saw two black bears!! We've seen lots of animals on our hikes, but this one, hike 48 had the best ones yet. Want to hear about it? Happy Walking Dead Monday! This week there's no Fear, as they are on a mid-season break. But we have the last two episodes of World Beyond season one and you know Whitebeard is happy. In episode 9, Elton loses grip on reality and episode 10, Huck's betrayal is deeper than we thought. And Whitebeard was right about Hope. So, are you ready to talk ill of the dead? let's go.

Good morning and Happy Humpday! In the age of instant, 24/7 and too much information, it's incredibly hard to get good information or even good advice. Our minds have to sift through all that comes into it. When seeking help from others we need to be careful... because unfortunately they may be getting their information from the same source. let's figure out what we might do better so that we might have better outcomes.

Happy Friday! This week's big feature is "Urban Cowboy", you can catch on Amazon. Two generations many decades and "cultural norms" apart, watching a "classic" and "iconic" film can be problematic. For instance, they are "pre" and "post" political correctness. What was funny once is now considered taboo. I'll say this, this was fun watching TK,'s reaction and a pleasure for me to see a young Debra Winger(massive crush) and John Travolta again. Also in this episode, update/review on series we last mentioned and a new one we started, "Queen Sugar". Go get your popcorn and coke with two straws and let's get into this.

Happy Humpday! "The Epic Family Roadtrip" is a YouTube channel we like to watch. It's about a family of five... or six, now that they have Lando. And they Overland travel, camp and enjoy adventures along the way. It's funny, Lando gives us so much joy to watch. He runs all over the place, sometimes he actually frolics like the deer. He seems to be born for the wild... and to be free. Like us, we weren't meant to be chained to a desk forever. Today how about we take some time to be a bit like Lando the Adventure Dog.

It's November 17th! National Hiking Day also known as National Take A Hike Day. Today we discuss some of our favorite places to hike, some of our most difficult hiking terrains and why as crazy as it seems, we'd go back to some of them. It's this belief that has Americans at each other throats... right where the media and politicians want us. But there is more behind this process as a puppet and puppeteer.
