Countless hours retelling stories of her mother to help her grow from teenager to young adult women. Fighting against pop culture. Reminding her how her mom never said she was a "strong black woman". Never said her "pronouns are.." never raised her fist against " Patriarchy" nor referred to herself as a mythical creature like the unicorn with the hashtag "black girl magic. Now!... After all that, culture is erasing what a woman is. In this podcast I talk about Lia Thomas,(**I may have said Olympics I meant College) and more. You ready for this? Welcome to the crazy train! Nearly a year has gone by and the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse has started and ended. The verdict...? Not guilty. It didn't take long before Americans turned on each other and for the case to be labeled "racist". To one side he's a "hero" and a "patriot", to the other he's a murder. Kyle has also been compared with Sandmann because both are young. Well... I have my take on it too. Get your tickets and hop on the crazy train.

Well it's official, The Crazy Train segment is here to stay. At least for now. As the year comes to a close we are thinking about the future of the podcast. But!!! For now, there is a lot of craziness to cover. Let's get into it.

Happy Veterans Day! Today, as we should everyday, we celebrate and thank our service men and women. All of whom have volunteered for military service. My dad, Airmen Bland, who entered the Airforce at 17 is among them. We chatted this week for his birthday, he turned 85 that's when I learned a little more about his choice to enlist. That conversation prompted today's show. As well as the high rate of suicide among veterans.

When did Camping become "car camping" then evolved into "Overlanding" and overlanding, become about who has the most stuff on their trucks? We were on our way back from New Mexico and pulled over for a meal break, rest and bathroom run. Catching up on YouTube channels we've missed, we noticed a running theme in everyone's videos... "What "Overlanding is", the narrow view really bothered Whitebeard. Basically, looking down from their collective noses, anything other than a truck in the middle of nowhere is just camping or a roadtrip. But!!! Isn't Overlanding just camping??! We think so. However, the community doesn't and it's pretty dang divided on its own meaning as well. Our frustrations were a little high that day. Ready to listen in? Jump in the backseat and take a ride with us. Today we pick up where we left off on Tuesday. 13 days of traveling to Las Cruces, New Mexico and camping out there for 5 days, then the long unexpected road trip back to the Bronx. The return trip had us go through different states than going down. And it was like School House Rock as we learned history along old Route 66/Interstate 25.
