The world constantly asks you to shrink yourself, to dim your light and to sit quietly in your box. Limited by the beliefs, thoughts, feelings passed down to you from the moment you were born to your last breath. Defined by everyones take on your life and your being, losing your voice to the world that says who you are isn't enough. 

But its time to stop shrinking and hiding, its time to face ourselves and grow.

Grief brought two friends together. Sharing our personal experience surrounding the death of a loved pet and a loved one, I sat down with Andreia Gibau to discuss how we navigated grief, what was comforting and what was more upsetting and harder to accept in a time when "Sorry for your loss" was the worst thing to hear.
