Yes, you read the title right, but it's much worse than just a "transgender Christian" speaker. The entire conference is a mess, and, despite other issues we've seen with Max Lucado, it's shocking to see a major evangelical figure participate in this conference. If you're still unsure, you can see more evidence of the issues at the link below:

Is James chapter 2 finally a true "woke prooftext"? Or is it another case of scripture being twisted to say something it doesn't. Join us as we look at two distinct claims made from James 2, break them down, and compare them to what God's word says. We hope you find this useful.
We're finally back with the 11th installment of the "How the Woke Manipulate" series. This time, we look at how people weaponize the question "did you talk to them first" to dodge evidence of "wokeness." There are multiple facets to this one, so we hope this podcast is helpful.

We're unveiling our new website: ewtcnews.com. Go there to get news and more that relates to the church and wokeness. Wokepedia isn't going anywhere, but we would like feedback on Wokepedia as we figure out the two projects fit together. In addition, we look at the current situation with Andy Stanley, and some of the responses to it.
Jason from Dear Woke Christian joins us to talk more about Lecrae. We cover how Lecrae uses standpoint epistemology ("my truth") to push his woke views. Should Christians follow Lecrae, or just stay away?

Does the book of Nehemiah prove woke ideas? Or does it disprove them? Different woke people think it does, so let's look at some passages and claims to see if this really is a woke prooftext.
There has been no shortage of drama in the SBC, but have these two pieces of news finally pushed things to a extreme? No so much for the content, but more so the brazen nature of things. Yet another committee has been formed to study an issue that their statement of faith already answers, and leadership at the ERLC has gotten even worse. But again, compared to other things, these two don't even have plausible deniability.
Is faith mean to stay between you and God? Or does it influence how you interact with the world? In this episode, we'll talk a bit about that, but mostly we're centering it around how to talk with friends and family who hold that view. Next time your friend groans and says "politics has no place at church," you can have some tools to initiate a positive conversation with him. Granted, it's a process, and nothing will happen instantly. With our advice, though, you should be more prepped to enter into that process.
