Lots of laughs with Katy on this one as we chat about how God’s word gives us everything we need for life and godliness. Lots of Scripture in this one too! Oh and that song I forgot was “The Joy of the Lord is my Strength” and the verse was- “He fills my soul with laughter- Ha ha ha ha ha!” Give it a try! Thanks for listening!!!!!!

Home is a structure rooted in a particular location for people to dwell in. But it can be more than a physical dwelling. As a Christian, Jesus makes his home in you and you in him. You become the place where his Spirit dwells “at home.” This external and internal reality of “home” is what I call “Whole Home.” Whole Home is the dynamic relationship between the inner life of a Christian woman specifically and the outer “home” that she stewards. In one sense- a Christian woman is always “working from Home!” Home is not a static entity, but like a good garden it is always growing in fruitfulness and the Master Gardner is always at work. Let’s hear what he’s been doing!

Katy shares with us her roots in “Soul Food”, having spent her younger years down south in Louisiana, and how God’s word became the best kind of food for her soul after he opened her eyes in college to the truths of what she had heard all her life. Thanks for listening!

Join Deanna and I as we visit the soil she came from. Most of her life she looked back and would see only dry desert: no water, no blessing- but recently, very recently, her heart is being softened to see God’s presence, faithful love and protection over her.
