In episode_32, I'm doing my best to be as honest as possible about the taboo topic of 'How the hell does anybody afford anything in motorsport?'
Being in this sport has put a maximum-strength floodlight on the murky, shadow side of 'worth' in the figurative and literal sense.

This podcast is the audio recording of the journal I've been keeping since the day we got on the road in the middle of a global pandemic to go racing.
Shamelessly authentic and always with a sense of humor, I hope this story gives you a look behind the sheen of social media-- the shiny posts about racing, travel, and of course, eating, and sheds light on what it's really like to be a family taking risks and living life on the road.

'Wherever you go, there you are.'
This episode is a reflection on how life is made up mostly of the same elements for everyone, everywhere, no matter the country.

While it's usually about every 10 episodes that I throw in an interview, we thought we'd kick off the new year chatting with Team Spiezia. We talk about our favorite (and least favorite) parts of 2022 and what we're looking forward to on the Age of Light Tour 2023.

Time for another special episode! This time with none other that the talented Alex Goldschmidt, Rotax Project E20 commentator and genesis of the #electricrenegade moniker.
Alex joined us on track at Zolder for a Belcar Sprint Cup weekend in Ellis's trusty #128 Ford Fiesta, and we stole a bit of time in the camper to record this episode. Enjoy!

In episode_28, I'm feeling acutely aware that my social circle is morphing, and I just plain miss my friends, along with the realization that it's taken the better part of 4 months for things to feel like they're settling in, and just how unsettling that can feel.

In this episodes, we're at the halfway point of season 2's Age of Light Tour, which is just as long as the whole trip was in 2020. After the high of the Euro Trophy weekend, anything was going to pale in comparison, putting me in a state of existential dread about our experience in the microcosm in comparison to the larger world that's burning.

This episode was penned on July 22, 2021, the day after our 1 year anniversary on the Age of Light Tour. It touches on the shifting energy between Francesco and me, and what it's like to hold space for someone you love.

The Age of Light Tour celebrates it's first anniversary!
In this episode, it's exactly one year since we first left for Germany and got detained by border police, nearly ending our adventure before it began. In a beautiful twist from the universe, hear about a grueling race weekend after a full year of hard work that resulted in Ellis's first podium.

I'm gonna admit, I recorded this one in a bit of a rush, since it's podcast Tuesday and I didn't have a new episode ready! Maybe that's perfect, since this episode contains three separate journal entries, each short, tentative explorations of some anxiousness, insomnia, and what 'home' means for us.

This episode is a bit of rant covering three different entries, and generally recapping some of the nuts and bolts (haha-- pun intended) experiences of life during a race weekend.
