Here’s another episode of the Wholistic Vitality™ Podcast , Dr. Christine Manukyan dives deep into the transformative power of forgiveness as part of her holistic vitality framework. Forgiveness isn't about excusing the past, but rather liberating ourselves from it to create space for healing and inner peace. Dr. Christine outlines her six-step process from her book, Breathe. Heal. Surrender. Unlock Your Healing Journey: 8 Pillars to Reclaim Wholistic Vitality™ guiding listeners through steps such as acknowledging emotions, shifting perspectives, and practicing empathy. She also emphasizes the importance of setting boundaries and using rituals like breathwork to release resentment. Listen in for practical tools on how to let go, embrace compassion, and reclaim your personal freedom.
“Forgive yourself for not knowing what you didn't know before you learned it. And again, many times, we're being so hard on ourselves, and we're just like, oh, I should have known better. I should have done better, and just show self-compassion even for yourself too. This is so, so, so important. So again, just remember that everything is forgivable and replace a negative feelings of hurt replace them with love and abundance and gratitude”
Let’s talk about:
Forgiveness is for inner peace – Forgiving others (and ourselves) is not about endorsing what happened but liberating our own soul, allowing us to move forward with peace.
Shifting perspective is crucial – Moving from a victim mindset to one of empowerment helps release anger and resentment, enabling growth and healing from past experiences.
Empathy and compassion aid healing – Practicing empathy, even toward those who have hurt us, allows for deeper healing by recognizing the shared human experience of pain.
Setting boundaries protects your peace – While forgiveness is essential, it's equally important to establish clear boundaries to prevent future hurt and ensure emotional safety.

In this eye-opening episode of the Wholistic Vitality™ Podcast, Dr. Christine Manukyan dives into part three of the Vitality Framework series, focusing on the letter T for "Transformation Begins Within." She explores how generational patterns, passed down through 12 to 17 generations, shape our beliefs and behaviors from conception. Dr. Manukyan shares her personal journey as an immigrant from Armenia, breaking deep-rooted cultural and financial patterns to create a new life in the U.S. She emphasizes the importance of healing both ourselves and past generations to build a legacy of abundance and freedom for future generations.
“I want you all to start having conversations with yourself, of which patterns are you continuing to create or keep going, especially when it comes with your clients and your family members, and I want you all to not only do the inventory of the patterns, but also start taking action. And for some of you might be like, I need to speak up more, I need to create boundaries, I need to let go of certain people from my life, just because their family doesn't mean you have to have a relationship with them. So again, learning and embracing your past, but also being very intentional of how you live your life, how you choose to live your life, especially when your quote, unquote act of kindness is being taken advantage of.”
Let’s discuss:
Generational Patterns Shape Our Lives: We inherit 12 to 17 generations' worth of patterns, beliefs, and behaviors, which influence how we approach various aspects of life. Identifying which patterns serve us and which need to be broken is crucial for personal growth.
Healing Transforms Past and Future Generations: When we actively engage in healing and self-awareness, we're not only transforming ourselves but also healing our ancestors' traumas and influencing the future generations' mindset and wellbeing.
Financial Freedom and Empowerment: Breaking limiting financial beliefs is essential for creating a new mindset around money. Especially for women, overcoming generational norms about financial roles empowers both personal freedom and a healthier relationship with money.

In this new episode of the The Wholistic Vitality™ Podcast, Dr. Christine Manukyan kicks off an empowering eight-part series based on her latest book, breathe. Heal. surrender. Unlock Your Healing Journey: Eight Pillars to Reclaim Your Wholistic Vitality™. Today’s focus is on “Voicing Your Truth,” a vital chapter that emphasizes the transformative power of speaking up for your own healing and empowerment. Drawing from her personal experiences growing up in a culture where women’s voices were often silenced, Dr. Christine explores how suppressing your truth can block your throat chakra, leading to emotional and physical ailments. She discusses how finding her voice was crucial in setting boundaries, regulating her nervous system, and ultimately reclaiming her authentic self.
“It takes courage and vulnerability to confront our deepest hurts, but it is essential for our healing journey. Healing is about finding your own voice and voicing your truth.”
Let’s explore:
Voicing Your Truth for Healing and Empowerment: Dr. Christine highlights the importance of speaking up as the foundational pillar in her vitality framework. Suppressing one’s truth, especially for women, can lead to emotional and physical health issues, including blocked energy centers like the throat chakra.
Cultural and Personal Experiences of Silence: Drawing from her upbringing in Armenia, Dr. Christine discusses how cultural norms suppressed women's voices, including her own family’s experiences, and how overcoming these generational patterns allowed her to reclaim her voice and set boundaries.
Reflecting on Communication Patterns: Dr. Christine encourages listeners to reflect on their communication habits, explore the limiting beliefs that prevent them from expressing themselves authentically, and challenge fears that may be holding them back from voicing their truth.

Welcome back, vibrant visionaries, to another transformative episode in The Wholistic Vitality™ Podcast. I am diving deep into the power of breathwork—a profound tool for manifestation and healing. In this episode, I share my journey from a career driven by ego to one fueled by soul-aligned purpose. In this session, you’ll explore the balance between the mind and body, learning how breathwork can release stuck emotions, create space for new possibilities, and guide you towards your true desires. My compassionate guidance will lead you through a three-part breath practice to help you unlock your inner potential, release past grievances, and step into the magic of your life's journey. Embrace this opportunity to manifest from a place of soul, not ego, and allow yourself to experience the transformative power of breath and forgiveness.
“For our experience, folks, just go ahead and stick with inhales and exhales through your mouth, and utilize your body to just let your body feel okay. Don't restrict any feelings. Don't try to question. Don't try to make sense or logic. Again, you're manifesting deep down from your soul. Don't let your ego ruin your experience. Don't let your ego trying to be so hard on yourself, questioning whether or not you're doing this right or wrong. There is no right or wrong way of doing breathwork. There's just a way of doing it. And you're gonna get better and better as you do more of this.”
Let ‘s dive deeper into:
Breathwork as a Powerful Tool for Manifestation: Breathwork helps in manifesting desires by guiding individuals to access deeper levels of consciousness and release emotional blockages, allowing them to create from a soul-centered space rather than from the ego.
Healing through Letting Go and Forgiveness: Dr. Christine emphasizes the importance of releasing internal baggage, such as grudges, anger, and frustration, to create space for new energy and positive transformations. A brief forgiveness exercise is included in the session to aid this release.
Mind-Body Connection: The session highlights the significance of aligning the mind and body. When there is a disconnect between the head (ego) and the body, even achieving goals may feel unfulfilling. Breathwork can help bridge this gap and foster a deeper connection with one's true self.
Safety and Accessibility: While breathwork is a powerful modality, Dr. Christine advises caution for individuals with certain health conditions, such as pregnancy or heart issues, and encourages them to participate with mindfulness and awareness of their own limitations.

In this new episode of the The Wholistic Vitality™ Podcast, Dr Pauline Yeghnazar Peck joins me for an insightful conversation about intergenerational and cultural trauma within immigrant communities, particularly for daughters of immigrants. We delve into the significance of culturally informed therapy, the challenges of navigating mental health within families, and the vital need to break generational patterns for better emotional well-being. Dr. Pauline emphasizes the need for culturally informed therapeutic practices and the empowerment that comes from understanding and addressing inherited traumas and the value of sharing experiences and building supportive communities, as well as the transformative potential of these efforts in fostering healthier, more connected lives.
“The next step is the awareness that this is something that has been passed down through the generations that you begin to see. It's not just your parents, but potentially your parents’ parents and your parents’ parents, and you start having the curiosity about whether this pattern came before you. And whether without your awareness, it's going to happen with you involved in it as well. And you have this moment where you realize, oh, this is bigger than me, that awareness is everything.” -Dr Pauline Yeghnazar Peck
In this episode, let’s explore:
Understanding Intergenerational Trauma: Intergenerational trauma affects daughters of immigrants significantly, often influencing their mental health and identity.
Culturally Informed Therapy: The importance of culturally informed therapy in addressing trauma and mental health within immigrant communities.
Challenges in Mental Health Awareness: Navigating mental health can be particularly challenging within immigrant families due to cultural stigma and lack of awareness.
Breaking Generational Patterns: Recognizing and addressing inherited traumas is crucial for breaking harmful generational patterns and fostering emotional well-being.
Empowerment through Awareness: Understanding intergenerational trauma can empower individuals to seek help and create supportive environments.
Role of Supportive Communities: Building supportive communities is essential for healing and providing a sense of belonging and understanding.

In this new episode of The Wholistic Vitality™ Podcast, Michele Waterman and I dive deeper into the concept of wholistic™ health, personal transformation, and self-advocacy in healthcare. Our discussion also delves into practical tips for embracing a holistic lifestyle and the importance of informed self-care and the importance of going beyond traditional pharmaceutical solutions to explore the root causes of health issues and leveraging holistic practices like functional medicine, neuro breathwork, and lifestyle changes. We also touch on the importance of questioning and understanding the care and prescriptions provided by health professionals, encouraging patients to seek information and possibly second opinions when prescribed medication.
“But are we really in a free economy and like, here's the thing, we need to be able to have these nuanced conversations where we call out the the institutions themselves and talk about the the greed, we talk about, you know, the gatekeeping, the agendas, and who this really benefits, which, you know, honestly, when it gets down to it, we're talking about benefiting stakeholders, and shareholders over the well being of children and human beings that are being prescribed cocktails of medications.”- Michele Waterman
Key takeaways to explore:
The importance of patients asking questions and seeking clarity about their treatments from healthcare providers.
The necessity of identifying and addressing the underlying causes of health issues rather than just treating symptoms. This approach not only leads to better health outcomes but can prevent future health problems.
The empowerment that comes with taking charge of one's health. Dr. Christine's story is used as an example of how personal responsibility and proactive health management can lead to remarkable health transformations.
The idea that true health involves a balance of mental, physical, and emotional wellness and how lifestyle changes, such as stress management and healthy eating, are crucial components of holistic health.
The need for ongoing education about one's health and wellness options is emphasized, suggesting that staying informed is key to making better health decisions.
The limitations and challenges within the current medical system, particularly the focus on treating symptoms with medications without addressing deeper issues. This highlights the need for a shift towards a more patient-centered approach in healthcare.
The integration of various therapeutic practices, including clinical hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and Reiki, illustrates a multi-faceted approach to health and wellness.
