Meet Ed and Liz: two once-promising adults now marinating in a thick, lukewarm broth of low self-esteem and lost potential. After walking away from their careers and watching their confidence melt like a gas station hot dog under a heat lamp, they’ve found themselves in a full-blown Weenie state of mind. With no prospects and time slipping through their thirty-something fingers, desperation leads them to enroll in a local university—hoping for a second chance. What they get instead? A front-row seat to misadventure, regret, and the harsh realization that the world has gotten younger, stronger, and way more TikTok-savvy.
Guiding us through the wreckage is your host, Maximum Jones—part philosopher, part coach, and full-time Weenie expert. Each week, Maximum digs deep into Ed and Liz’s chaotic campus chronicles, breaking down the moments where their inner Weenie takes the wheel. Through humor, empathy, and the occasional roast, Maximum helps us spot our own Weenie tendencies—and maybe, just maybe, how to leave them behind.
