Ok Ok Ok we know that it’s women’s month but we had to give you some free gems this episode. We talked about what a Criminal Defense Investigator does, Bobby Shmurda’s situation and some tips for us everyday folk when encountering law enforcement. Happy Hump Day! The Head Winers are here with their first ever medium-length episode. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you feel about this person) there will be no Aftertaste or Berries being taken. Nia Bia kicks off the show telling us great news about Breonna Taylor’s boyfriend, a new voting bill, and Eddie Murphy’s plans post-pandemic (13:34). The dynamic duo brings it home with a wine-down that asks a question a lot of us will have to answer soon in life: Is it worth it to marry into a family that’s drastically different from yours (35:59)? A reoccurring debate in the POC community is whether or not Black people should be actively helping the Asian community which has been the victim of numerous hate crimes as of late. Naturally, MikeyBarxxx and Nia.Bia could barely get into the conversation before they disagreed on the definition of allyship. As you may know, the Golden Globes recently released the nominations and several prominent Black actors/actresses were left off of the list. Can we really say we’re surprised though?
