It's season 2--now with more wine! Shaughn and Ellen are back for wine wins, and no more whines!

Ellen's Hip Sip Tip is the Penfolds "Grandfather" Tawny Fortified Wine. Shaughn's tip is Chenin Blanc from South Africa.

This week's guest is Farley Elliott, editor of Eater LA! Shaughn and Ellen brought a skin-contact natural wine, since that is what Farley is getting into: 2015 Hatton-Daniels Malvasia Bianco from Contra Costa, California!

The crew get into the ups and downs of being a food writer--from what makes him like a restaurant, to getting recognized, to what he drinks with a meal. Farley compares his work to being the sports reporter of Los Angeles food: he's giving a play by play, not a review. Plus he shares some LA food history!

They discuss skin-contact and natural wine, and being open minded when it comes to drinking. Curiosity is key! Farley turns the tables and quizzes Shaughn and Ellen on favorite wine regions, the Valle Guadalupe.
