Every year there is a fund raiser for the House of Ruth entitled: "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes." During this event, grown men step into high heels and walk a literal mile to bring awareness to the needs of domestic violence victims. Domestic violence is a horrendous issue that impacts countless families regardless of race, gender, religious affiliation, gang affiliation, favorite ice cream flavor or any other potential factor. Lets raise some money for the needs of domestic violence victims and make the Wiregrass a better place to #bewhatshappening!
