Pam Hallford came by this evening to talk about upcoming DAYP events such as (and heavily focused on) Aces for the Arts. Aces started a handful of years back in an effort to raise money for the Cultural Arts Center here in Dothan, while also providing a great opportunity for local young professionals to network with each other and build on relationships. Paul Fripp is a pretty well known name in the local culinary scene. He owned one of the first restaurants downtown before taking a position as a regional chef for Sysco. He has since come back into the restaurant world as the GM and executive chef of The Cellar. We had a couple of our past podcast guests come in and join us for our second annual Turkey Day Trivia game. This one was a little less standoffish and a lot more lively than last years. Be warned though. A lot of Wild Turkey was flowing so the language is questionable at best. Don't listen to this with the kids in the car or if you want to be able to look your preacher in the face.

Boyd and Deavours stop in to discuss their newest project, The Plant. This will be a huge addition to the ongoing push to revitalize Downtown Dothan. The Plant will feature 2 stages, dining, a beer garden and even potential retail space. Be on the lookout for great things to be happening in this historic building!
