This lyric was written the day after Inauguration Day. It started off going back and forth with my older brother who has a very different opinion than mine. I had also watched clips and videos of families at the border being turned away. Although my views and party were victorious, I noticed my heart was hurting. So I wrote the lyric to express the turmoil I had. It reminded me of the Pharisees and the woman caught in adultery, she sinned, she was in the wrong, but while the Pharisees/disciples were focused on wondering what he was writing on the ground, they missed the opportunity to focus on the heart of the one whom was writing. I never want to lose the heart of The Father.

A Prophetic Word by Allison Hoover: “The Hand of God in Transition”

In a stirring prophetic word, Allison Hoover shared a vision of God’s sovereign hand moving mightily in this season of transition. She described a divine stirring, a strategic repositioning orchestrated by heaven itself, where God is actively pulling His people into places of authority, power, and influence across multiple industries. This is not just a shift in the spiritual realm but a tangible move that will manifest in business, government, education, arts, media, and more.

Hoover emphasized that this transition is both purposeful and intense, as God’s hand moves to align His people with His plans. However, she also spoke of a divine intermission of rest orchestrated by God in the midst of this season of change. This period of rest is not passive but purposeful—designed by God to refresh and prepare His people for the magnitude of the tasks ahead. It is in this sacred pause that believers are invited to draw nearer to Him, find clarity in His voice, and be renewed in strength. It is a time to recalibrate and ensure that hearts and minds are fully aligned with His will.

This intermission serves as both a shelter and a springboard, where God imparts fresh vision and equips His people with the spiritual, emotional, and physical resources they will need to step into their new roles with excellence. It is a divine reset that allows for the breaking of old patterns and the embracing of His higher ways.

Hoover further described this as a moment where doors that once seemed impenetrable will now swing open, allowing believers to step into roles where they will lead with integrity, innovation, and Kingdom principles. This divine repositioning isn’t about personal gain but about advancing His purposes in the earth, shaping culture, and preparing the world for the greater revelation of His glory.

She encouraged those feeling the weight of change and uncertainty, likening this transition to the refining process of gold, where the heat is necessary to purify and prepare. She urged believers to remain steadfast and embrace the rest God offers, trusting that He is establishing them for such a time as this. This is a season to step boldly into new territories, carrying the light and wisdom of heaven to influence and transform every sphere of society.

Ultimately, Hoover declared that this movement of God’s hand is not just a call to leadership but a call to partnership with Him. It is an invitation to walk in obedience and faith, knowing that He is positioning His people to be catalysts for His Kingdom on earth. Through both the rest and the repositioning, God is preparing His people for greater levels of impact and glory in the days to come.

Heavenly Father,

I come before You in deep reverence and awe, exalting Your holy name above all names. You are the Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, and the Sustainer of all life. “Lord, You are good, and Your mercy is everlasting; Your truth endures to all generations” (Psalm 100:5). “Great are You, Lord, and most worthy of praise; Your greatness no one can fathom” (Psalm 145:3). I praise You, Lord, for You are faithful to heal, restore, and deliver.

Today, I bring before You a marriage that is under the strain of pornography and lust. I pray for true repentance in the heart of this spouse, that they would come before You with humility and a sincere desire to turn away from sin. Just as Your Word declares, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9), I ask that You cleanse their heart, mind, and spirit. Let them find strength in Your grace to turn away from this sin, no longer conforming to the patterns of this world but being transformed by the renewing of their mind (Romans 12:2).

Lord, break the chains of this addiction and bring complete deliverance. Your Word assures us, “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13). Provide this way out for this spouse, and renew their heart and mind to walk in purity and holiness before You.

I pray for forgiveness and restoration within their marriage. Let them both embrace Your command in Ephesians 4:32 to “be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” As they release any bitterness, anger, or hurt, may their hearts be healed, and may they come together with renewed love and commitment.

Lord, protect this marriage from the snares of infidelity and any further interference from the enemy. Shield this union with Your mighty power and grant them strength to “guard their hearts, for everything flows from it” (Proverbs 4:23). May they honor the vows they took before You, understanding the sacredness of their covenant and reflecting the love that Christ has for His Church (Ephesians 5:25-27).

Strengthen their bond, Lord, by becoming the third cord that is not easily broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12). Draw them closer to You and to each other, giving them a fresh revelation of the divine covenant of marriage. Reignite their hearts with love, helping them to see each other through Your eyes—renewed, beloved, and whole.

I pray that You fill their hearts with mutual love, respect, and admiration, which comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith (1 Timothy 1:5). Restore intimacy and trust, rebuilding what has been broken, and let them walk together in newness of life, clothed in dignity and strength (Colossians 3:10-12), with Your peace ruling in their hearts (Colossians 3:15).

Thank You, Father, for Your unwavering love and mercy. I trust in Your power to restore and heal. May this marriage be a testimony to Your grace and redemption, a living reflection of Your faithfulness.

Heavenly Father,

I lift my voice in praise and adoration before You. You are the Creator of all, magnificent and holy, deserving of all our worship. “O Lord, great and awesome God, keeping the covenant and steadfast love with those who love Him and keep His commandments” (Daniel 9:4). You are majestic in holiness, awe-inspiring in deeds, and a worker of wonders (Exodus 15:11). We thank You for Your enduring faithfulness and unending love that reaches the heavens.

According to Your promise in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know,” I pray for an impartation of open dialogue with the Holy Spirit for this listener. May their heart be finely tuned to the gentle whispers of Your Spirit, guiding them in every decision and conversation.

I ask for a childlike faith for them, that trusts You wholeheartedly, without doubt or hesitation. Renew their mind and spirit, enabling them to marvel at Your works and embrace Your kingdom with the wonder and simplicity of a child.

Lord, I also seek miracles, signs, and wonders in their life. May these divine manifestations affirm the reality of Your power and presence, inspiring awe and drawing hearts closer to You. Empower them with prophetic dreams and visions, opening the eyes of their heart to see the future You have ordained and to understand Your deeper mysteries.

Grant this listener the grace of humility, helping them remember that every good thing comes from You and that they are merely a vessel of Your will. May they serve You and others with a humble spirit, always placing Your desires above their own.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your constant presence in our lives. May our journey deepen in faith and love as we walk closer with You each day.

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heart full of praise, declaring Your greatness and faithfulness. As Psalm 145:3 says, “Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; His greatness is unsearchable.” You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end (Revelation 22:13). I thank You for Your unfailing love, which endures forever (Psalm 136:1), and for Your mercy that is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

I lift up this man of God, asking that You prepare his heart and mind for the beautiful journey You have planned for him with his future wife. Your Word teaches us in Genesis 2:24 that a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. Lord, I pray that he grows in his relationship with You, drawing closer to Your heart each day. As he seeks You first (Matthew 6:33), may he experience a deeper understanding of Your love and purpose for his life.

Help him to embody the qualities of a godly man—integrity, humility, patience, and kindness—as he prepares to lead and love his future wife. Ephesians 5:25 instructs husbands to love their wives just as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself up for her. May he learn to love sacrificially, placing her needs above his own.

I ask that You position him to recognize the woman You have chosen for him. Open his eyes to see her as You see her, and grant him the wisdom to discern her character and heart. May he be guided by biblical principles, understanding the importance of mutual respect, support, and spiritual alignment in their relationship, as outlined in 1 Peter 3:7, where husbands are called to honor their wives as co-heirs of the grace of life.

I pray for protection over him from any counterfeits that may seek to distract him or lead him away from Your will. Lord, may he use the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) to shield himself from demonic interference and spiritual attacks, fortifying his spirit against any schemes of the enemy.

Lord, I pray that he remains steadfast in prayer and purpose during this season of preparation. Encourage him to pursue personal growth, whether spiritually, emotionally, or physically, so that he can be the partner You have called him to be. Help him to build a foundation rooted in Your Word, cultivating a life that honors You in all things.

As he navigates this journey, strengthen his resolve to honor You in every aspect of his life, knowing that You are faithful to fulfill Your promises. Remind him of Proverbs 18:22, which says, “He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.”

Thank You, Lord, for the future wife You are preparing for him. May their relationship be a testament to Your goodness, grace, and love. Let it be a partnership that reflects Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25-27), built on trust, respect, and a shared commitment to glorifying You in all they do.

I lift up this man’s future wife to You. Thank You for the work You are doing in her life, preparing her for the partnership You have ordained. Surround her with Your love, protect her from harm, and strengthen her faith. Fill her with wisdom, grace, and joy as she grows in her walk with You.

May she be blessed with peace, confidence, and clarity as she waits on Your timing. Prepare her heart to receive the love You are cultivating in her future husband. Let her life be a reflection of Your goodness, and may she experience Your faithfulness in every step of her journey.

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heart full of praise, recognizing Your greatness and the incredible gift of the Holy Spirit. Your Word declares in Psalm 145:3, “Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; His greatness is unsearchable.” I exalt You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and mercy that follow us all the days of our lives (Psalm 23:6).

I lift up my voice in adoration, as Psalm 100:4 reminds us to “enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise.” I thank You for Your presence in this listener’s life, for the Holy Spirit who guides, comforts, and empowers them. As it is written in Isaiah 11:2, may Your Spirit rest upon them—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and fear of the Lord.

Lord, I ask for a more interactive relationship with the Holy Spirit for this listener. Your Word in John 14:26 promises that the Holy Spirit is their Helper, who teaches them all things and brings to their remembrance all that You have said. I pray for a deeper awareness of His presence in their life, that they may listen and respond to His leading in their daily walk.

Holy Spirit, I invite You to move freely within this listener. I ask that You touch them right now as they listen to this prayer. May they feel Your tangible presence enveloping them, filling them with Your love and peace. Teach them to recognize Your voice more clearly and to discern Your promptings. Help them cultivate a heart that is sensitive to Your guidance and a spirit that is willing to obey. As they meditate on Romans 8:14, may they embrace the identity of being led by You as a child of God.

I ask for a fresh outpouring of Your power and presence upon them. Fill them with Your wisdom, understanding, and revelation. I pray that they will receive prophetic visions and dreams that illuminate Your purpose for their life, as promised in Acts 2:17, where You said, “In the last days, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.”

Enable them to experience the fruit of the Spirit in their life, as described in Galatians 5:22-23, that love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control may abound in their heart and interactions with others.

Lord, help them to be attentive to the ways You are speaking to them—whether through Scripture, prayer, prophetic insights, or the gentle nudges of the Holy Spirit in their spirit. May their relationship with You deepen as they grow in their understanding and experience of Your presence.

Thank You, Lord, for the promise of Your Spirit. I commit this journey into Your hands, trusting that You will guide them every step of the way.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts filled with gratitude and reverence for Your greatness. You are the Creator of all things, and we praise You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. As this beloved one embarks on the assignment to write a book that is divinely inspired by You, we acknowledge that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5).

Lord, we ask for Your grace to abound in their life. Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” We surrender their weaknesses and uncertainties to You, trusting that Your strength will shine through every word they write.

Grant them steadfast diligence and focus to complete this assignment. May they find joy in the process, and let it be an enjoyable experience as they write. Protect them from any demonic interference or spiritual warfare that may arise, covering them with Your armor as described in Ephesians 6:10-18. Let Your angels guard and guide them as they undertake this sacred task.

We also ask for protection from the snares of the enemy, such as pride and self-ambition. Help them to remain humble and reliant on You, recognizing that this assignment is for Your glory and the edification of Your body, not for personal gain or recognition.

Provide them with supernatural wisdom and understanding as they seek to convey Your truth. James 1:5 reminds us that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask of You, who gives generously to all without finding fault. We ask for that wisdom now, that their writing may be a vessel of Your revelation and encouragement for the body of Christ.

Father, we pray for provision in every aspect of this journey—be it time, resources, or inspiration. Philippians 4:19 assures us that You will meet all our needs according to the riches of Your glory in Christ Jesus. We trust that You will cover all publishing and distribution costs, providing abundantly for this project.

Let every chapter they write bring glory to Your name and edify the church. As they write, may Your Spirit guide their thoughts and fill their heart with passion for Your people. May this book serve as a light, a tool for healing, and a source of hope, reflecting Your love and truth to all who read it.

Finally, we claim the promise of Isaiah 55:11, that Your Word will not return to You empty but will accomplish what You desire and achieve the purpose for which You sent it. We stand in faith, knowing that this book will be a testament to Your power and love.

Thank You, Lord, for the opportunity to partner with You in this divine assignment. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise.

Prayer for Safe and Blessed Travels with Favor, Provision, and Divine Encounters

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of praise and thanksgiving. You are the Lord Almighty, the Maker of heaven and earth, who holds all creation in Your hands. We honor You as our Protector, Provider, and faithful Guide. Your Word declares in Psalm 121:8, “The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” We praise You for Your constant care and for being with us wherever we go.

Lord, as we prepare to travel, we ask for Your hand of protection to be upon us. You have promised in Psalm 91:11 that “He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” We ask that Your angels go before us, surround us, and keep us safe from all harm, danger, and delays. Let our journey be covered by Your peace, and may we arrive safely at our destination.

Father, we also ask for supernatural favor to rest upon us. Just as Proverbs 3:3-4 says, “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.” Lord, help us to carry love and faithfulness in every encounter, as a testimony of Your goodness. May these qualities be so deeply ingrained in us that others see Your character through us, granting us favor and respect in the sight of both God and people.

We pray for supernatural provision, trusting in Your Word from Philippians 4:19, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” We know that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You meet every need for this journey—financial, physical, and spiritual.

Lord, we ask for divine appointments and encounters along the way. We invite You to lead us into moments that allow us to share Your love, encourage others, and experience Your presence in unexpected ways. Just as You led Philip to the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-40), guide us to those whom You want us to meet, to bless, and to be blessed by.

Most of all, Father, we long to experience Your glory and presence on this journey. Just as Moses said in Exodus 33:15, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here,” we ask that Your Spirit go before us and fill every moment with Your nearness. May we feel Your love, hear Your voice, and be transformed by Your glory. Let this journey be a time of deepening our relationship with You, and may we return filled with testimonies of Your goodness.

Thank You, Lord, for Your protection, favor, provision, and presence. We surrender this journey to You and trust that You will guide every step. We pray all of this in the powerful and holy name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer for Increased Trust and Obedience to God

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of awe and praise. You are our faithful Creator, the One who never fails, whose promises are steadfast, and whose love endures forever. We exalt You as the God who sees us, knows us, and lovingly guides each of our steps. Psalm 33:4 says, “For the word of the Lord is right and true; He is faithful in all He does.” We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the assurance that we can place our complete trust in You.

Lord, as we seek to draw closer to You, we ask for an increase in trust and obedience in our lives. Help us to remember Your Word in Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Father, strengthen us to lean on You in every situation, even when things seem uncertain. Give us the courage to release our fears, doubts, and any tendency to rely on our own understanding, that we may wholly depend on You.

We also pray for hearts that are eager to obey Your commands. Your Word reminds us in James 1:22 to “be doers of the word, and not hearers only.” Lord, may we not only hear Your guidance but respond to it with a willing and obedient spirit. Help us to trust that Your plans for us are good and that walking in obedience to You brings peace and blessings. Open our eyes to see how Your wisdom surpasses ours and how Your ways lead to life.

Father, we thank You for the promises You have given to those who trust and obey You. Your Word assures us in Isaiah 1:19, “If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land.” And You promise us in Psalm 34:10 that “those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.” We claim these blessings, believing that as we trust and obey, You will provide for our every need and pour out blessings beyond what we can imagine.

Lord, we know that as we seek to grow in trust and obedience, we may face challenges that test our faith. But we stand on the promise in Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” With You by our side, we have nothing to fear.

Thank You, Father, for Your unchanging love and for the work You are doing in our lives. May our hearts grow daily in trust and obedience to You, confident that Your blessings, protection, and guidance will follow us as we walk in Your ways. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
