In the Season Finale of The Witch of Storm Woods, Gabe finds out that the vampires know who she is and where she lives and that they consider her and Eli their enemy.

Gabe and Eli hear back from Maddie and work to free her from Carpe Noctem.

Gabe talks about not working with the coven because they insist on working with someone she doesn’t trust. Augustina Gulley was not at the meeting as she got lost in Storm Woods which is more than enough for Gabe to refuse to trust her, but the coven considers her trustworthy, so Gabe decides she and Eli with do their own investigation.

The coven - Addison Raven, Lacey Vane, Deb Clarke, and Layla Davis - show up at Gabe's home with a plan to see if the missing Maddie Tremaine is being kept somewhere in Carpe Noctem.

Gabriella and Eli Bailey travel to Carpe Noctem for the first time, and have an interesting excursion at the Al Dente restaurant.

Gabriella Bailey shares with her friends the story of her new job, the nearby town of Carpe Noctem - full of vampire cosplayers, and her time at the spring equinox meeting fellow witches. Being new to the area she got to hear a lot of strange stories about the Carpe Noctem and the forest she where she works.
