The Witch Wounds Summit (Free)

In this final presentation, you will learn about the wound that so many of us carry around feeling shame for our desires and unable to allow ourselves to receive pleasure. We looked at the pleasure wound in your astrology chart as not only something you experience, but that generations of women, femmes, queers, and witches before you experienced too, (in your direct ancestry and the ancestral collective).

We looked at:

In this live panel discussion, summit host Tenae is joined by Lorriane Anderson, Emily Lewis, Deborah McDaniel, and Julie Anne Stratton to talk about the crossroads moments that asked them to make new choices and step into new versions of themselves. Their stories touch on careers, relationships, family, and coming out of the broom closet, along with the very real losses and the unexpected gifts that followed.

The panelists then share advice for anyone standing at a crossroads of their own, including choosing what is true for you, caring for your body, practicing self-compassion, and taking your questions to ritual. They also answer audience questions about daily self-care and pleasure practices and the rituals that support them through hard seasons, from baths and music to journaling, burn ceremonies, spirit guide connection, and letting yourself cry.

Being descended from witches sounds romantic, but the history is far more complicated. In this live panel discussion, summit host Tenae is joined by Mandi Em, Clarissa Guillen, and Dr. Kimberly Pendleton to explore the ancestral experience of witch wounds: what wounds, identities, and experiences have been handed down to us, and what work we are doing around them. Their family histories range from witch hunters and accused witches, to traditions that syncretized to survive under Catholicism and colonization, to indigenous and Sicilian lineages cut off from their roots.

The panelists share how their work today connects to their ancestors' experiences, including ancestor veneration, ending cycles of repression, leaving high-control religion, and taking the shame out of what we inherit.
