After talking about our theme of situational and spiritual awareness for the first part of the year, we thought it would be good to touch base with the main thing-relationship with Jesus Christ.  Our foundational scripture is Jesus addressing the Church in Ephesus in Revelation.  They seemed to be doing everything right, yet something was missing.  If we're not careful to keep the main thing the main thing, we can do the same thing individually and corporately.

In this episode we examine the Parable of Jesus in Mark 12 of the Owner of the Vineyard and the Vinedressers.  We also get in to how the attitudes of these Vinedressers were present in the spiritual leadership of Jesus' time and have even infiltrated the modern church.  In addition, if this is present in the modern church and the church is composed of people, we should also examine whether this attitude is present in ourselves as well.

We conclude our them of Situational and Spiritual Awareness by getting into the most important aspect of it: Christ Awareness.  You could also say Christ Consciousness.  In this day of catch phrase Christianity, it would be easy to dismiss this as a gimmick or marketing ploy.  However, the Apostles had a lot so say about this.  That's what we get into in this episode.
And we're not asking for any of your money.

In our discussion on Situational and Spiritual Awareness we talked about the importance of knowing yourself.  One of the aspects of this is to be able to tell when you are offended.  We get into a discussion of Luke 17 and Jesus' discussion on offenses and how to handle them as believers.  
We also get into how not addressing offenses can be just as destructive and harmful as being offended at everything.
Most importantly, we contrast walking in offense to the Lord's intent for us to walk in love.

We continue our discussion of the prophetic anointing and some of the problems that can occur with this calling.  We also relate a few stories from our time on the wall and talk about the importance of timing and knowing when to be on watch and when it's time to rest and get to know the Lord better.

We continue our Situational and Spiritual Awareness them by discussing the Watchman on the Wall.  This is term often used to describe the prophetic anointing that God can place on certain believers.  This anointing can also be on intercessors and although it can make you more aware of what is going on and what God's intent is in certain environments, it can also put a big target on your back.  In addition, if we err in our behavior then some of this can be warranted.  In this episode we talk about what it means to be a watchman, your responsibilities as one, and some pitfalls to avoid.

We continue to talk about this tactic that the enemy uses to come against and undermine believers who stand their ground and hold to Biblical standards.  We point to examples in Scripture where this tactic was used against people of faith.  In the end, what matters is that we set our egos aside, walk in love, and live the Gospel regardless of the consequences.

We continue our discussion of both situational and spiritual awareness as well as the importance of boundaries by getting into a popular tactic used by the enemy against believers.  That is to try and play the victim when we stand our ground, use our compassion against us to undermine our relationship with Christ, and also paint us as the bad guy.

This is nothing new.  We also get into examples in Scripture when this has happened and how it was handled.

In this episode we discuss the importance of boundaries, both physical and spiritual boundaries.  You know before God entrusted Israel with physical boundaries for the promised land, He established moral and spiritual boundaries as a people.  When they violated the moral boundaries, their physical boundaries were invaded and infringed upon.  It's not much different for us as believers today.  We also discuss what this looks like today and the importance of Covenant in all this.
