It seems like a simple command we are given in Psalm 34:14 which says, “Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.” A simple command it may be, but carrying it out is a tall order. Our flesh wants revenge, to win, and to enjoy sin for a season, but God said that we are to depart from evil. Join us in this podcast of Woman at the Well Ministries as Kim takes us on a journey through the scriptures showing us how to follow Psalm 34:14 and depart from evil and do good.
Quotable Kim-isms
“If we want to depart from evil, we need to run towards the Lord.”
“The love of Jesus is what makes us different.”
“We need to be in the place that knows our place, and our place is under the Lord.”
“We have to depart from evil and the opposite of departing from evil is dwelling in good.”
“You show the true love, grace, and mercy of Jesus when you love those that are difficult to love.”

In John 10:10, Jesus said that He came to give us life and that we might have it more abundantly. Too often we, His children, live below our privileges. We live stress-filled lives filled with negativity. We live emotionally drained, physically exhausted, and defeated. But as children of God with the Holy Spirit living in us, we should not live defeated lives. Studies prove that you can’t process negative thoughts and positive thoughts at the same time. Join us in this podcast of Woman at the Well Ministries as Kim takes us on a journey through the scriptures replacing our negative thoughts with positive thoughts.
Quotable Kim-isms
“Don’t give validity to the lies that people say about you.”
“When we are stressed, it’s because we have our thoughts on the wrong thing!”
“A personal relationship with Jesus gives you access to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.”
“Living in the center of God’s will gives you the opportunity to experience the goodness of God.”
