God is our refuge and present in our times of trouble.  Psalm 46:1 tells us, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”  This means that God is with us through the trials, temptations, difficult situations, and when we need Him.  In fact, God is with us always because He never leaves us or forsakes us (Hebrews 13:5).  Psalm 46:1 reminds us that God isn’t just present but that He is very present. Most of us make many plans for our lives. Most of those plans are made without even consulting Jesus. The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11 that God has an expected end for us. He tells us in John 14:6, the He is the way. Yet, time and time again, we leave Him out of our plans. Every born-again believer has been given the charge to be an encourager.  We must stop to consider the words we say and make sure the intent of our speech is approved by God.  Ephesians 4:29 says, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”  Simply put we are to only speak those words which give grace to the hearers.  Join Kim Miller of Woman at the Well Ministries as she explains how can use our words as God intended and bring encouragement to all with whom we communicate.
