Leigh had the pleasure of sitting down with Azlan Raj, who is a champion for WiT and epitomises true allyship both in his work and personal life. This was a really insightful episode, as we hear how Az parents his son & daughter equally, what he feels WiT allyship really means, how he supports his team at work and what he thinks the future of Women in Tech should shape up to be.

On this week's episode, we get to hear from Kirsty Butcher who is the Head of Salesforce Strategy at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. She's been in the company over 20 years, which is very rare in today's volatile job market. Kirsty shares what has kept her there for over two decades and how her vision for the role she felt she wanted in the early days changed and how she entered the technology arena. There's insight into how she raised two young children as a single mother, all whilst grasping new opportunity in the workplace with both hands!

On this week's episode of 'The Women in Tech Perspective', we get to pick the brains of a Technical Architect. Astha works for a FTSE 250 Media Company and is on her journey to becoming a Certified Technical Architect, which is widely considered the pinnacle of technical competency within the Salesforce ecosystem. 

We hear her experience of moving to the UK from India 8 years ago, her upbringing and some of the cultural differences coupled with parent expectations and the educational system.

Astha talks about her non-negotiables when returning to work after maternity and how she juggles such a demanding career path alongside being a mother.

By her own admission, she fell into Technology after her mum told her to get off her sofa and get a job.
