This episode is the story of two women in the same royal family and making very different choices for their lives. One chose to follow after her parents who were known for their evil and murderous acts. The other chose to marry a priest and follow after the living God. One tries to destroy God’s redemptive story and the other by her courageous act preserves the line of Christ. What does this story teach us about our choices in life?

The Women of the Bible - Athaliah and Jehosheba

I started writing journals years ago to document life.  I journaled about where we traveled, what we ate, what my kids were doing or saying – you know life things. Then I journaled about other things too, like Bible studies that I participated in or led. These podcasts came out of those journals. I led a small group for about a year and we studied the women in the Bible. Who they were, what they did and how it might apply to our lives. What resulted was a Bible study that I was leading several times a week to different groups of ladies. Several of the ladies asked me if I could record the lessons. So here they are.
