There is help. There is healing. There is hope. You are not alone.
As Rock Solid Families continues its October theme of Spiritual Warfare, Women on Mission host Linda Hutchinson welcomes Cari Kettman, Executive Director of Safe Passage, for an important conversation during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Domestic violence doesn't always leave visible scars. Emotional manipulation, financial control, intimidation, isolation, and even the misuse of Scripture can be forms of abuse. Linda and Cari discuss how to recognize these warning signs, why abusive relationships are rooted in power and control, and how to safely support someone who may be suffering in silence.
Cari also shares the life-changing work of Safe Passage, including emergency shelter, confidential advocacy, safety planning, and education focused on building healthy relationships. Through real stories of survival and healing, we're reminded that even in the darkest situations, there is hope.
As followers of Christ, we are called to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves (Proverbs 31:8-9), act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God (Micah 6:8).
If you or someone you love is experiencing abuse, you do not have to walk through it alone.
