You may be surprised at how Whitefield describes Jesus' words about being converted as a little child. I was. But I believe he is right on. First of two parts.

God will use your works, and not your testimony, as proof of your deserving of rewards. Though the matter of salvation is settled when you are born again, the manner of entrance into the Kingdom is judged by your works.

Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. That's the ticket. Saving faith produces a holy life. If our lives are not holy, they are not saved. How the Western Church needs a huge dose of this message!
