Both sides of the debate praise God's greatness: Job sees himself as the victim of a bully, his friends self-righteously expose Job's sins. Job 9-13

Job answers Eliphaz and pleads for God to tell him what he did wrong. Bildad then makes the same basic accusation: Job, you did wrong! Just repent all is well. Job 6-8

Affter a long silence, Job begins to air his pain before his friends. He wants to die. He is then mildly rebuked by the first of the three friends, Eliphaz, who suggests that Job may have sinned to bring this on. Job 3:1 -5:27

Bunyan is in prison. Here we have a recollection of his thoughts and attitudes while there.

A saved John Bunyan now labors for the souls of others in his ministry. As he gains more visbility in his service, the enemy attacks him through the tongues of some very evil people.

We begin now the books of "poetry", starting with the man Job, who is about to be attacked by Satan. Job 1:1

Haman is discovered and hanged. Modecai essentially takes his place. Esther begs the King to reverse his edict against her people, whose identity Haman had never disclosed. The Jews are given the right to defend themselves and in so doing gain the respect of the people in the vicinity. Esther 7:7

Three banquets with Haman and the King. Haman is exposed. Mordecai is elevated. Incredible turn of events! Esther 5:1

After more continuing struggles, Bunyan is asked to speak at the church in Bedford. His ministry takes off and more and more people begin to come and listen to him. But his strivings continue to haunt him, even immediately before and after his preaching!
