Civil War continues. Joab vs Abner. Saul's people vs David's. Ishbosheth is the king of Israel, David, of Judah. Abner sells out to David but is then murdered by Joab for vengeance. David is outraged and broken by it.

Saul and Jonathan die in battle. David mourns them, and then is chosen as Judah's king. Ishbosheth, son of Saul, is king over the rest of Israel.

Saul hears from Samuel and is brought low. David sent home to Ziklag by the Philistines only to find his town has been burned to the ground and his wives have been captured, all by Amalekites. God through David turns things around quickly.
