Each one of us is created in the image of God. We share the same human nature and the same Heavenly Father, yet much in the world opposes that fundamental truth. We must strive for justice and equality, but with all the racial and sociopolitical tension, there is constant pressure to reduce each person to a group identity, which further divides us.
So how exactly can we work to restore our Christian unity and recognize our unique identity in Christ across different races and cultures? This is a critical question that Fr. Joseph addresses in this podcast, with session 1 focusing on the dangers of the mainstream social justice movement which is centered in the harmful ideologies of critical race theory, cultural marxism, and ethnocentricity; and session 2 focusing on practical ways we can restore unity in the body of Christ and the dignity of our personhood through a spirit of understanding and empathy toward one another.
