Fr. Joseph explains that there are 3 lessons we can learn from the man born blind by answering the following questions.

• What did this man have to do to receive his new eyes? He had to humble himself and obey.
• What did his eyesight do for him? It provided him a fresh start. Christ created new eyes for him and therefore created a new life for him that allowed him to walk in confidence.
• What was the hidden mystery in his transformation? This man received eyes of faith. He recognized his truth of his identity and the truth of Christ as his creator.
