God has given His word for you to have it and make it real in your life, but it is important that you not only hear it through someone else, but that you go directly to it, read it and see the true word. 
God has promised you new life, and although the enemy will try to turn you back and give bad testimony about the word, you must hold on to the Word of God, which never changes and always remains faithful.
