The flesh lust or desires against the spirit in a way that make the Christian confused and find his journey unenjoyable. The flesh was our master before we were born again. Now that we are born again the flesh must be made the servant of the spirit. This is the beginning of the fight. The devil knows this hence he will want, at all times, to entice and tempt the flesh.
