Where and how do I get salvation?

Prophecy is talked about a lot, but why and what is the relationship to us?

Oftentimes we take credit for God's work. WithoutGod's blessings and strength we can't do anything. Give God glory and credit for His mighty hand in our lives.

Isaiah 40:31 KJVBut they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk,and not faint

Psalm 18:2 KJVThe Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Psalm 28:7 KJVThe Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him

In Jesus is everything

The Word of God says: Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV) "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."

What an incredible declaration! God was speaking directly to Jeremiah about his prophetic calling, but within this verse we also discover timeless truths about God's knowledge, His purpose, and His sovereignty.

Whose day is the Sabbath? Who can change it? Do you need permission? does a day matter?

Like is life as a vapor, emphasizing its fleeting and temporary nature.

James 4:14 states, “Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away” (KJV) the metaphor of a vapor or mist illustrates how brief and insubstantial human life is compared to eternity. Just as a wisp of smoke or morning fog quickly disappears, our time on earth is short and uncertain.

The Lord continued: "Before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." The word "sanctified" means set apart for a holy purpose. God had reserved Jeremiah for service long before Jeremiah understood his assignment. Jeremiah was not left to discover his purpose by chance. God had already prepared the work and appointed the worker. Likewise, God has a purpose for every believer.

Paul writes In Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." We are God's workmanship. We are His creation.
