Gretchen Courting shares her journey of recovery after over a decade of active addiction. She dabbled in many substances, but her drug of choice was heroin. Alcoholics Anonymous helped her get sober 12 years ago, but today Jesus helps her stay sober. We engaged in a fun discussion about how recovery looks different for everyone, including the pros and cons of AA, and how we choose to identify in sobriety today. Gretchen talks about how she found the right church community and its blessings upon her family. She also gets into how faith played a part in the decision to homeschool her kids. Jerold Limongelli shares his journey of seeking self-love and worthiness through new age spirituality. He got deep into tarot cards, yoga, meditation, and Eastern mysticism. He tried plant medicines like ayahuasca, DMT and peyote. He traveled the world to study with shamans, gurus, witch doctors and voodoo practitioners. Even though it appeared on the outside that he was winning at life, Jerold became stuck in a never-ending quest to elevate himself to a higher level of consciousness. His life dramatically changed one day when God spoke to Him during a walk in the woods. The Holy Spirit transformed Jerold’s life and brought him true peace and freedom. This testimony is incredibly inspiring in a world that offers false hope and illusions of satisfaction.

Robert Hall was raised in abusive home and abandoned by his father at a young age. Despite a rough upbringing, he started seeking Jesus after a miraculous encounter. Over time, God revealed His love to Robert and taught him what a true father looks like. He restored and healed Robert from the hurt he’d been through. Now, he faithfully serves God by working in the lives of children from fatherless homes with his ministry, Children of the King. Robert has been such a blessing to my family, and I pray His testimony blesses you too!

Jennifer Jensen had a traumatic childhood growing up in a broken home with alcoholic, drug-abusing parents. It wasn’t until she was placed in a foster home with believers that she began to learn there was a better way to live life. In that home, she and her twin sister gave their lives to Jesus. Jennifer’s life tells a story of loving people no matter what. Throughout all of her hardships, she learned to take ownership over her relationship with the Lord and never stopped praying. God ended up using her to help change the fate of her family. I was so moved by her faith, love and joy despite everything she has endured. I pray this blesses you as well!

Paul James grew up in a fatherless, broken home in Africa, where he was abused, neglected and rejected. Eventually, his family moved to America with hope of a brighter future. When an unexpected pregnancy forced him to let his dreams go, he got into partying, became a womanizer, and developed anger issues. Thankfully, God never stopped pursuing him, and he gave his life to Jesus. God taught Paul healing through forgiveness, and obedience to His direction. Now, God is using Paul as a witness for His kingdom. Paul’s powerful testimony is proof that we serve a limitless God who can transform anyone’s life for His glory!

Madison Burney was raised without a father in a strict religious environment. She got pregnant with her first kid her senior year of high school, causing her to be treated like the black sheep of the family. Lacking the love of an earthly father, she turned to sex, drugs, and alcohol to fill that void. But the Heavenly Father chased after Madison and knew exactly how to meet her. In her most broken moment, she had a life-altering encounter with God and experienced His overwhelming love, that the world could never give her. The story she shares is so moving and teaches us that God can heal, restore, and take every painful, dark moment and use it for His glory.

Brittney Gruett shares her story of growing up in a religious cult called Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her family eventually left the church, but thankfully she was saved as a young adult. From that day on, her life was forever changed. Brittney went from fearing death to discovering an inexplicable peace. Years later, after struggling with infertility, she experienced a miraculous way to adopt a baby. The Lord has blessed Brittney with mighty testimony to share. Andy Elliott shares his journey of struggling with severe social anxiety, anger and alcoholism. Everyone tried to help him, but it wasn’t until he had a radical encounter with the Holy Spirit, that his life began to change. He chose to surrender over and over again until he started feeling differently. He embraced discomfort and said yes to what God was asking him to do. Little by little, God has been transforming his life. Now, Andy is the lead pastor of The Beat Church in Round Rock TX, founder of L3 Recovery, and author of The Stickle Maker’s Love children’s book.
