Episode 16.

This week we once again look at one of the miracles of Jesus. This miracle involves the exorcism of a man possessed in the region of Gerasa. Jesus had exorcised unclean spirits before, but what makes this miracle stand out, is the answer Jesus receives when he asks the demon for its name.

Episode 15.

Today we talk about a miracle Jesus performed in Bethsaida. Jesus was presented with a blind man and asked to heal him. At this point in Jesus' ministry, he had performed many spectacular miracles. So why then did this healing encounter not take effect immediately? If nothing is impossible for God, why did Jesus have to lay hands on the blind man twice? Did Jesus lack the ability to heal, or was he once again teaching all of us an important lesson?

Episode 14.

Today we go back to The Old Testament to hear the story of Naaman, a mighty warrior, and assistant to the King of Syria. Naaman suffered from leprosy, and travelled to Israel to be supernaturally healed by the Prophet Elisha. Would the God of Israel heal this foreigner? What fantastic rituals and sacrifices would be needed for this healing? Lets look to our bible to discover this incredible story of faith.

Episode 13.

Paul was in Ephesus, performing miraculous acts of healing and exorcism. A local High Priest named Sceva, had 7 sons who wanted to perform the miracles that Paul was doing. These sons thought that as long as they copy Paul's actions, and invoke the proper names, they too could have authority over an evil spirit. In today's episode we see the tragic results of their amateur attempt.

Episode 12.

Today we celebrate mothers, by looking at the most famous mother the world has ever known. What kind of woman was she? Why was such an unlikely candidate chosen for such an important task? Let's look at what scripture says about this young, poor, Jewish girl from Nazareth.

Episode 11.

The Church was growing! This explosive growth had brought with it the need to expand the organization, as some followers felt their needs neglected. Not wanting to take away from their ministry, the 12 Apostles asked the church body to choose 7 men among them to assist. Today we learn a little more about the 7, and the acts and fates of the 7 chosen to serve.

Episode 10.

Paul the Apostle spread the teachings of Jesus Christ to the first-century Gentiles. Now that Jesus had ascended into Heaven, his ways were to be spread to the entire world. Our story takes place at one of Paul's speaking events. The speech went on through the night, until a young boy sitting in the open third floor window, just couldn't stay awake any longer...

Episode 9.

Would Jesus ignore a woman crying and begging for help? Would Jesus refer to that same woman by comparing her to a dog begging for scraps? Doesn't sound like Him, does it? Todays episode looks into the story of the Canaanite woman, and the importance of keeping faith, even when it's greatly tested.

Episode 8.

Deborah was one of the most important women in the Bible, she was both a prophet and a judge. Her story involves a stunning victory over a powerful Canaanite army, led by the fierce warrior Sisera, and shows us the importance of following God's commands, even when doing so seems impossible.

Episode 7.

Saul, the first King of Israel was a desperate man. His longtime advisor Samuel was gone, and he was faced with a terrifying battle against the Philistine army. Rather than trust in God for guidance, the impatient King sought out a woman known to practice in the dark arts. Today we explore the folly of Saul, and God's message to those who disobey Him.
