We search the scriptures to understand the power of our silence as we allow God to work in and through us, as always, for His glory. In other words, our silence is one way of getting out of God’s way. But how do we know how and when to be silent when all the forces in this world are screaming at us? Can we steal away in our own minds so that we may deliberately turn it all off to focus on God?

In asking the question, what is God’s part, we now we turn our attention to ourselves — the recipients of His grace. What part do we play in God’s Grace? Let’s continue to walk mainly through the pages of the New Testament to see where we, as Christian believers, fit into grace.

We note that it is through the atoning work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that we are reminded that Grace is God’s gift to us, even though we don’t deserve it. Only then can we begin to grasp the depth of the awesome love God has for us!
