Gabriel is a pastor, scholar, and an all-around fun dude to talk to. He is the pastor of two churches in Tampa and a partner of the well for kinship outreach which distributes groceries to neighbors in need. Our conversation covers everything from Gabriel's story to nonviolent communication and a theology of work. He's in a critical thinker and I hope you enjoy this episode with Gabriel Morgan.

Ian is a Global Project Leader for Red Bull Amaphiko since 2014. I met Ian because of my own involvement with Amaphiko as I was accepted into the fellowship after submitting an application for WellBuilt Bikes.

Amaphiko is a global development programme designed to unlock the potential of grass-roots, community-based social entrepreneurs; it is active in 12 countries, including US, UK, Brazil, Germany, Turkey, South Africa.

Ian has a background in philosophy and advertising, which, as he explains in our conversation, go really well together as they are both about turning abstract ideas into concrete statements. This background has served him well as his calling has taken on a more explicit social calling to build up and support social entrepreneurs. Given his access to these entrepreneurs, Ian has grown into something of an authority on the space, which is itself, in many ways en emerging space at the overlap of the old for/non profit dichotomy.

I was so excited to get this time to talk through Ians life, his work, his perspective on the future of work for social entrepreneurs, and the future business in general.

Christian is a fascinating dude that has applied himself to many different ventures over the years. From studying psychology and theology, going to law school, helping run a political campaign, then tech, marketing, and now serving as a director of a new non-profit, this dude's journey is rich with experience and insight.

Matthew is the founder of The Remedy Project, a biannual concert series aimed at bringing churches into deeper engagement with local issues like sex trafficking, foster care, poverty, etc. Matthew also works with Eckerd Connects as a Transition Support Specialist. It is this role that brought the two of us into contact as he has become a regular customer at WellBuilt Bikes. Our partnership with Eckerd in both work readiness as well as making transportation available to young people in their programs has really blossomed in large part due to Matthew constantly showing up to get bikes for the youth he has been working with.

Bruckner Cases is a professional endurance waterman and ocean advocate whose 2010 25-mile swim across Monterey Bay served as a major pivot that led him to develop his own non-profit that is using evidence based ocean engagements to positively impact how we feel, think, and act towards the oceans.
