Everybody has things they hate about their job. And, if we pay attention, we have things to like about our jobs as well. Life isn't all lollipops and creamsicles but appreciating what we have helps us to be happy.

In 2007 there was a real fear among the college educated that, like the factory jobs, their jobs would be shipped overseas to places like India. Some did get outsourced abroad but many went to cheaper parts of the US like South Dakota and Florida. Is it better to just lose your job or have to move? John and Matty K discuss.

Amanda Yates Garcia is a practicing witch and one of the most engaging people Matty K has ever had the pleasure of speak with. Misconceptions about her profession abound and she does a wonderful job explaining the connection with nature and oneself.  Her book, Initiated: Memoirs of a Witch, comes out on October 22nd and I know it will be a fascinating read. IFMF's!!!  Matty K is recovering from a half marathon in which he half walked and John is planning on a weekend filled with apple picking, landscaping, chopping wood and all around hustling...Matty and John attempt to fire you up for an energy-filled weekend, but fall far short in their inspiration and life in general.  

Food Delivery Apps...GrubHub, DoorDash...Food delivered on-demand!  Technology, the gig economy meets convenience...and a growing waistline!  Who wants to eat at a fancy restaurant when you can just eat in your own living room in front of the TV? Well, servers and chefs would like to have you there. Many restaurant owners are complaining that food apps like Grubhub are bad for their businesses. Fine dining isn't what it used to be!
