Louder Than Life 2026 is set to be the most expansive edition in the history of what is recognized as America’s largest rock and metal festival. Scheduled for September 17th to 20th at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, the event will host nearly 200 bands across seven stages. This massive four-day takeover integrates high-octane music with the thrill of a theme park, offering a comprehensive "rock escape" for fans.
The Musical Lineup
The 2026 bill is headlined by a powerhouse rotation of legendary acts and modern icons:
• Thursday, September 17: Features Iron Maiden, Pantera (in their only U.S. performance of 2026), and Megadeth performing one of their final farewell sets.
• Friday, September 18: Led by My Chemical Romance, Pierce The Veil, and A Day To Remember.
• Saturday, September 19: Headlined by Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, and Sublime. This day also features one of the largest all-female-fronted stage lineups at a major U.S. rock festival, including acts like Halestorm, In This Moment, and Lindsey Stirling.
• Sunday, September 20: Concludes with TOOL, Gojira, and Danny Elfman making his first East Coast appearance in nearly a decade.
The festival is also a hub for exclusive milestones and reunions. Fans can witness anniversary sets such as Jimmy Eat World marking 25 years of Bleed American, Sleeping With Sirens celebrating 15 years of Let’s Cheers To This, and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus honoring 20 years of Don’t You Fake It. Highly anticipated reunions include Circa Survive, Get Scared, and Metal Church, alongside a promised debut from a "mystery guest" band.
