The World of Eora: an Avowed + Pillars of Eternity Lore Podcast

This episode of the WORLD OF EORA is a unique one, in that I am aiming to bring up to speed those out there listening to don't know *anything* about the what the show is about...be it about the fictional fantasy world called "eora", or the Pillars of Eternity games.

I know of a couple people who listen to just like the show, even though they haven't heard of what most of the content is about; as well, I know of others who listen to this show alongside their significant others.

Today's episode focuses on the recent history of the setting for second Pillars game, "Deadfire" (short for "Deadfire Archipelago"). Taking place only three years after the events of the first game, but in a far off smattering of islands. Filled with island tribes, and new factions from faraway empires, the events that occur in the Deadfire show both the breadth and depth of Obsidian writing. As far as the world's lore is concerned, it shows the events of some of the world's major players, and could affect Avowed, depending on when it takes place in relation to Pillars II.
