We live in an era with the radical right on the rise. But where are they taking us? In this session, we unpack the ideologies driving various right-wing currents and distil the utopian visions that lie therein. What is the endgame of Silicon Valley Libertarianism? Does the Johnson-Cummings matrix represent a departure from Conservatism as we’ve known it? What vision of the future is at the heart of Bolsonaro-ism? Crucially: what are the weaknesses in these right-wing ideologies and how can we resist them?

The moral panic in response to migrants crossing the English channel is just the latest example of how racism and xenophobia structures British politics.
