DIG IN QUESTIONS
In light of this week's message, we encourage you to consider these questions and dig in a little deeper with your personal study, with your family, or with your small group.
Read John 15:18-22
1) We are told that because we follow Jesus, the world will hate us. How do we prepare ourselves to encounter hate and rejection in the world?
2) Being hated never changed Jesus’ love for all people he encountered. How can we soften our hearts towards those who will reject us and our faith?
3) When was the last time you chose to follow the crowd instead of following Jesus? What can you do to stand up for Jesus and for your faith the next time you’re in that situation?
4) What do you think happens to us and to our testimony if we give in to persecution?
5) Where in your life do you see “worldliness” having the greatest impact? How can you change that?
