"When Obedience Matters"
Acts 5:21b - 32, (Focal Vs. 2)
When It Comes To Obedience, How Do You Define It?

It is easy to define as "Doing The Right Thing."

Obedience has nothing to do with action, it has all to do with attitude and character of the heart.
CONDITIONED TO FOCUS ON DOING
1. Marriage example - Couples obeying each other
2. Children's example - Taught to do as parents say
3. Today's example - How are you doing?

Every child of God is a Masterpiece from the Creator, not a Created being to work on becoming a Masterpiece.
See Ephesians 2:28-10

Examples Of Those Who Were Obedient
1 - Moses - Exodus 3:4-14
2 - Abraham - Genesis 15:2, 5-6 22:1-3 11-12
3 - Jonah - Jonah 1:1-3a 3:1-3
4 - Paul - Acts 9:1-6

What Do All These Have In Common?

What Did All These Experiences After They Yielded To God?

"Experiencing God's Provision"
Acts 2:25-36, (focal vs. 28)

Can God Be Trusted? This Is Not The Question To Doubt God, But Instead, A Question To Cause One To Affirm Indeed He Can.

Examples of God's Provision
1. Woman of Zarephath - (I Kings 17:8-16)
2. A Boy With A Meal - (John 6:4-13)
3. Macedonian Church - (II Corinthians 8:1-5)

What They Had In Common
* All Had A Need God Could Meet
* All Responded to One Another's Need
* All Reacted To Having Their Need Met

Believe In God's Ability.
He Can Be Trusted!
