CCLI LICENSE #2006603242 min - How Shall We Know The Child
A message from Pastor Benjy Simmons of Gathering Community Church in Surfside Beach, SC.
"How Shall We Know The Child"
December 19th, 2021
How would the Shepherds Know? (Reference Luke 2:12)
How would the Wise-men know? (Reference Matt. 2:9)
I. We Come To Know Him Through "Simple Things"
II. We Come to Know Him Through "Heavenly Things"
"In Him was Life, and the life was the light of men"
TWO STATEMENTS OF BELIEF
Christmas is about God's love
meeting our human struggle.
Christmas is about God's light
shining into our hearts.
And the ground at the manger is like that of the cross,
it is made level... And there is room for everyone.
Four Things To Offer In Our Worship
1. Give God THANKS for the Christ Child.
2. Give God PRAISE for what the Christ Child provided.
3. Give God you CONFESSION of wrongs committed.
4. Give God the GIFT of YOURSELF for his service.
