The Worst Day is the First Day: The Best Day is the Last Day

Listen Later

In this episode Craig Chatriand  of Idaho State University and Angie Lion of Black River Performance Management discuss how education creates generational impact and how moving to a new area, finding your lifelines and discovering a sense of belonging help student’s tap into the resilience potential that already lies within. Drawing upon his own experiences, and the experience of others, Craig explains how the university environment is an ideal place to incrementally develop resiliency due to its lower-risk, high-support environment; something we can integrate into many of our own home and work experiences.     Craig

Chatriand has over 20 years of experience working in higher education focusing on student success, behavioral intervention, and student mental health. He currently serves as the Interim Vice President for Student Affairs & Enrollment Management at Idaho State University.
