Acts 14:19-28 Richard Wurmbrand had some amazing things to say about ministry, faith, and perseverance that I find pertinent and encouraging for our message this morning. "The living Jesus will give you joy amid tribulation." "Friendship with Jesus is costly. Faith alone saves, but saving faith is never alone. It is always accompanied by great sacrifices for Christ's sake." In reference to the faithful who have endured martyrdom: "Not all of us are called to die a martyr's death, but all of us are called to have the same spirit of self-sacrifice and love to the very end as these martyrs had."
