On the 2023 premiere of The Wrestling Caucus, we talk up the fantastic WWE Elimination Chamber show that took place in front of a passionate Montreal audience. Although this was one of the best WWE PPVs in recent years, we discuss what’s missing from recent Elimination Chamber matches. On the final caucus of 2022, we talk up the recent shows from AEW and WWE and what they say about the current state of wrestling. AEW Full Gear saw the promotions top heel, MJF become World Champion to a warm reaction. WWE Survivor Series saw the promotion revive the War Games concept and heel factions also receiving positive crowd reactions. What is the psychology of wrestling today? Is it good versus evil or are fans just reacting to the people they resonate with regardless of their moral standing?
