Fact, Fiction, and Flying Saucers: The Truth Behind the Misinformation, Distortion, and Derision by Debunkers, Government Agencies, and Conspiracy Conmen

The mainstream media has misinformed us for years about UFO studies conducted by highly regarded scientists associated with some of the finest universities in the country. There is significant evidence that the U.S. government has covered up the alien presence through misinformation, distortion, obfuscation, and ridicule. Some prominent, politically connected scientists have engaged in the cover up. And a few professional writers have helped to successfully label any scientists who have been persuaded by the evidence and brave enough to take a stand as unscientific charlatans, fanatics, and kooks.

Fact, Fiction, and Flying Saucers examines the wealth of archival documents that clearly demonstrate this cooperative disinformation effort and refute the false claims made by these professional scoffers. Friedman and Marden set the record straight by examining politically motivated misinformation and presenting the compelling evidence that separates fact from fiction. They reveal:

The most compelling UFO evidence, including a variety of large-scale scientific studies.

The current state of UFOlogy and what the future holds.

The media?s role in disclosure and denial.

The government scientists whose job it is to deny.

The Air Force, FBI, CIA, and NSA?s involvement.

Stanton T. Friedman is a nuclear physicist who worked on a wide variety of advanced, classified nuclear systems for major industrial companies. Kathleen Marden is a best-selling author, award-winning UFO researcher and lecturer, and a frequent guest on radio shows. Her expert testimony has been featured on the History, Discovery, National Geographic, and Destination America channels. She is coauthor of Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience, Science Was Wrong, and The Alien Abduction Files. She resides near Orlando, Florida.

In times past, science and magic have been separate, diametrically opposed and mutually exclusive. As we leave an age supporting polarization, and enter one of unity and enlightenment, we are granted a rare opportunity to evolve. This evolution of consciousness requires a different approach – one of triangulation. By bringing together seemingly divergent practices of science and magic, and applying them to leading edge subject matter, we can uncover a more expansive and evolutionary truth. The Science of Magic Radio, hosted by Gwilda Wiyaka, is a syndicated radio program, dedicated to combining the science and magic of today’s dynamic and controversial topics to co-create new solutions and promote evolutionary thinking. During each episode, Gwilda speaks with experienced and respected scientists and mystics. In collaboration with these gifted people of service to the world, she weaves unprecedented leading edge information, so needed in these rapidly changing times. The Science of Magic is aired daily and internationally on the ‘X’ Zone Broadcast Network www.xzbn.net. Past thought provoking episodes can be found on www.thescienceofmagic.net.

Nick’s latest book is Roswell UFO Conspiracy: Exposing a Shocking and Sinister Secret. This is an update of his book, Body Snatchers in the Desert which suggested a US government experiment using captured Japanese soldiers that went horribly wrong.

Nick had written a number of books about UFOs and UFO related phenomena. I think he is trying to take the record for the most UFO books from Brad Steiger (though there are those who say I have written the most). Now we have Roswell books that are sort of competing. Mine suggests that the evidence is conclusive to reach any mutually accepted conclusion and Nick’s new book continues on the theme of a failed government project.
