Eddie Benitez (born November 12, 1962) is a guitarist. Born in Puerto Rico, his family relocated to Europe soon after his birth. He was raised in Italy and Spain, and his father Francisco arranged private lessons for Eddie from the legendary classical guitar virtuoso, Andres Segovia. Benitez played his first concert at New York's Madison Square Garden in front of 20,000 fans at age of 14. Benitez signed with Fania/CBS records in 1976, his first release was "Nightlife", which he followed six months later with "Essence of Life." Benitez's performing career came to a sudden halt at the age of 23 when he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. This changed his life forever as he survived the cancer and took time off to reflect on life and spirituality. Throughout his life, Benitez has claimed to have had many spiritual visions while overcoming a heart attack and an unexplained three-day coma. Rob Conover was a skeptic, and still is at heart. His attitude was shaped in part by his early years in Missouri, the Show Me State, his three years in the United States Marine Corps, and his career after that as a private investigator. Joe Bullard was born in Florida in 1951. He attended the University of West Florida and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism in 1974. He found out about the Coral Castle on the television series called "In Search Of" in September of 1984.
