In 1995, James O'Kon shocked the archaeological world with the discovery of a massive, lost landmark of Maya engineering, the long span suspension bridge at the ancient city of Yaxchilan in Mexico. Now considered to be the longest bridge of the ancient world, the structure was overlooked by scientists who had studied the site for more than a century. In his new book, The Lost Secrets of Maya Technology, O'Kon recounts the thrilling realization of his discovery and how he used modern methods to examine and prove the existence of the spectacular bridge. The dugout canoe slid through the swirling waters of the Usumacinta River. Spider monkeys swung through the vines, and toucans and macaws flew amid the towering tropical rainforest. We were traveling downriver to the Maya city of Yaxchilan. Sitting in the bow, I did not realize that I would make a discovery that would change my life forever. - http://www.theoldexplorer.com/

The Day Manhattan Stood Still : "Be sure your right, then go ahead! was the motto of the American frontiersman Davy Crockett. It was good advice for anyone challenging a new frontier then, or now. Two years ago. "The Day Manhattan Stood Still" was published in UFO Magazine.{ Oct.-Nov. 02 } As stated in this eyewitness account, I was sure more information would surface. It did. Documentation of this information, I've been told, by the lead investigator is forthcoming. I've also been contacted by an official of the "Freedom for Information Coalition" who has assured me, that they are actively investigating this event. And most recently a brief conversation with Mr. Forbes. Hopefully, funding for scientific research into this event can be found. For that is the only way the public can truly understand the importance of this historic intergalactic open contact between two different species. An scientific investigation would validate these two facts. 1. Everyone working at the N Y Post, or near 210 South St. Witnessed this event, dozens of my coworkers have this event repressed in their memory's (missing time) 2.Residual physical trace evidence points to at least four of my coworkers being taken that morning. (approx. 30- 40 min.) Everything mentioned above, and in "The Day Manhattan Stood Still" is science fact, not science fiction. - http://www.ufocasebook.com/daze.html

Nicholas Ginex is a retired Electrical Engineer with an MBA in Finance. He worked in design and distinguished himself in the support disciplines of Maintainability and Configuration Management (CM). As CM Manager of software and hardware products at top aerospace and commercial companies, his planning and organizational skills were applied for the successful operation of entire engineering projects. During his retirement, Nicholas sang and played his guitar at senior care centers and nursing homes for their enjoyment. The smiles on their faces and joy in their eyes have been his greatest reward. His love for his children and desire to inform them about the god Amen and his influence on the Judaic, Christian, and Islamic religions - have motivated him to write Future of God Amen. He is presently publishing his 4th book, Amen to share personal views that provide a deeper understanding of religious dogma and the need for religious leaders to unify their belief in God. Nicholas' objective is to reveal to people around the world that Judaic, Christian, and Islamic religious leaders must acknowledge that they all pray to the same god. It is highly necessary that they all teach the Word of God and unify their beliefs in god by revising their outdated scriptures. For religious leaders to remain passive and ignore the looming threat of a Third World War due to the bigotry, hatred, violence, and killing of innocent people that they are responsible for will result in the religions themselves to gradually crumble and die. These religions may eventually face ridicule and dissolution for not performing their mission to elevate mankind to the next level of spiritual and moral development. www.futureofgodamen.com

Is Someone You Know In A Cult? - The difference between "religion" and "cult" can often seem slight. These days, many are apt to describe believers as one big community of faith, but the fact remains that there are very important differences among various belief systems, says Richard E. Kelly, a self-described "survivor" of Jehovah's Witnesses. "On the spectrum of faiths, I put the Watchtower Society - Jehovah's Witnesses - closer to the Charles Manson 'family' cult than I do, say, the Lutheran Church," says Kelly, www.richardekelly.com, author of "Growing Up in Mama's Club - A Childhood Perspective of Jehovah's Witnesses" and "The Ghosts from Mama's Club." The books detail his experiences growing up in a Jehovah's Witness household, the ensuing family disharmony and how the cultish legacy contributed to his sister's murder.

At the age of 2 Carol had my first encounter with the spirit of an elderly woman. After living in several homes that had activity it soon became apparent that she had a gift for communicating with those who were deceased. Carol began her journey into finding answers and started to investigate on hger own when she was in my early teens. After several years of investigating and researching all she could on the subject, Carol then founded an online community where she was responsible for teaching others how to research and investigate activity in their own homes and businesses. After being involved in this online community for quite some time Carol made the decision to expand upon her knowledge and become more seriously involved in collecting data and research in this field. That is when she founded the paranormal research group called Niagara Area Paranormal Society. Their team currently consists of 12 members. They research paranormal activity throughout the Niagara Region. Their team is well established in the area and we have had several media appearances. Besides my research in this field, I just completed my second successful season of teaching courses locally. Participants of the course have the opportunity to learn the basics about investigating and then have the opportunity to investigate local haunted locations with seasoned investigators at their side to help guide them. - www.paranormalinvestigations.net

Is America Prepared for a Massive Cyber Attack? - The threat of cyber warfare has suddenly become very real, with President Obama signing an executive order mandating development of standards to protect the computer systems that run critical sectors of the economy and directing U.S. defense and intelligence agencies to share classified threat data with those companies. In his State of the Union address, he urged Congress to pass even tougher measures. And cyber warriors will even be eligible for their own combat-related medal soon. The Pentagon has announced it's creating the Distinguished Warfare Medal, the first new medal since the Bronze Star in 1944, to recognize soldiers who excel in cyber and drone attacks. "Terrorists, organized crime, rogue nations - any of them can bring this country to its knees with a handful of tenacious and skilled hackers, and a plan," Martin says. "It's not inconceivable that a terrorist organization could divert millions of dollars from our banks to purchase weapons. Or, they could shut down a whole geographical region." While Martin applauds these initial steps, he says the United States must work quickly to get a real cyber defense system in place.
