The World of UFOs - Veteran UFO researcher Robert VanDerClock has confirmed that he has met with and seen the credentials of an anonymous source who disclosed that a secret UN meeting had taken place on February 12 that discussed UFOs and extraterrestrial life. In a February 13 article first announcing the secret UN meeting, the anonymous source disclosed that the meeting was called in response to national governments concerns about increases in global UFO sightings. In a later article, the anonymous source, henceforth referred to as "Source A", disclosed a time table existed for full disclosure of extraterrestrial life by 2017. In a phone interview conducted with me on March 25, VanDerClock confirmed that he had met with Source A approximately one year earlier. At the time, Source A was accompanied by the same two New York researchers, Clay and Shawn Pickering, who were responsible for the initial release of information concerning the February 12 meeting. At their meeting one year ago, VanDerClock personally reviewed the military credentials of Source A that were, in VanDerClock's opinion, "impeccable". Source A showed Vanderclock an album of his military service in classified facilities. This helps confirm some of the claims of Source A of having worked in classified facilities where he was exposed to projects involving extraterrestrial technology and life. Source A possessed, for example, a classified document he obtained in 1982 that detailed retrieval operations for crashed extraterrestrial vehicles that was another version of the famed Special Operations Manual that publicly emerged in 1994.

The Ghosts of Fort George, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario - During the War of 1812, Fort George served as the headquarters for the Centre Division of the British Army. These forces included British regulars, local militia, aboriginal warriors, and Runchey's corps of freed slaves. Major General Sir Isaac Brock, "the saviour of Upper Canada" served here until his death at the Battle of Queenston Heights in October, 1812. Brock and his aide-de-camp John Macdonell were initially buried within the fort. Fort George was destroyed by American artillery fire and captured during the Battle of Fort George in May 1813. The U.S. forces used the fort as a base to invade the rest of Upper Canada, however, they were repulsed at the Battles of Stoney Creek and Beaver Dams. After a seven month occupation, the fort was retaken in December and remained in British hands for the remainder of the war. After the war, the fort was partially rebuilt, and by the 1820's it was falling into ruins. It was finally abandoned in favour of a more strategic installation at Fort Mississauga and a more protected one at Butler's Barracks.

The really extraordinary thing about this book is that it tells the story of how one mother embarked on her feverish course of involvement in the AIDS community, in large part to help herself come to terms with the possibility of her son's death. But all that work really doesn't prepare her. She becomes incredibly intimate with a series of strangers, yet she and her son have more and more trouble talking about HIS illness, which is the reason she is doing all this in the first place. She becomes indispensable at the bedsides of countless other people, but when Gary is dying, she still feels helpless, disconnected and as if she'd never set foot in an AIDS hospital room. What is moving about this book is the fact that all this preparation doesn't prepare, because NOTHING can prepare her.

Old hands are not surprised at the United States muscling in on the "great Central Asian oil grab" with such gusto. Yet many fear that the superpower's exit might be just as spectacular. Why? The one notion essential to the 19th century "great game" to control India was conspiracy. Great Britain and Russia conspired against each other and drew the factions of Central Asia into their conspiracies. Adherence to certain rules turned this fierce conflict into the "great game". However American policy and research does not recognize conspiracy theory. This makes many of their assessments and predictions simply wrong. Give your listeners a treat. Hear Dr. Eugene Stovall discuss why conspiracy theory helps explain current events. Dr. Stovall uses conspiracy theory to propel the drama in his two novels: "Frank Yerby: A Victim's Guilt" and "Blood and Brotherhood: A Novel of Love in a Time of Hate."
